Spin-A-Vote

Voting time is running out. As of this post, there are eight days remaining to vote for the OTP XI candidate to represent the US Cogger.

The OTP Boss is not happy. Many Coggers have yet to vote. Worse yet, there could be a tie. The Boss (Hans) will flog Ted unmercifully if this happens. I won't care as it won't effect me. :-) I never get tired of watching Ted get flogged.

Anyway, if you haven't voted yet, and you are still undecided, I made a special tool to make your life easy. It's an official OTP XI Spin-A-Vote. It's real easy. Just flick the spinner and wait for it to stop, then look at the results. Write the name down and send Hans a Email with the results. Hans will tally up the votes and we will have a winner. I predict that this will break any ties.

OTP XI NOW IN PROGRESS!

It's already been another year come and gone. OTP is once again here and in progress. Hans has decided to roll again and COG members will nominate and vote to send an American to the UK for 2012. Yeeeeeeeee-Haaaaaaaaaa!

OTP X has started!

Here's the first photo I have of the "X Men" in official OTP X t-shirts.
We are at Rick's house blocking the driveway to make sure that the fat Texan, Ted, can't find a place to park.

We had to play with the cameras for an hour because we couldn't remember how they worked. Anyway, we got a couple of pics, so here they are.

Good thing Ted's not here. He'd have no place to park.

OTP X Donation Update Update

Well folks, here we are, 01 June 2011.

The Master flogger himself (Hans) has sent me a telegram (email) with the latest update. We have ever so slowly crept up to a mere 80% of goal. We are getting there, but it is painfully slow. Slow and painful like a snail crawling across coarse salt for the last mile of a dried up salt lake bed.

What can I say? DO I need to flog more? Flog harder? Flog Ted in public?

By the way, where is Ted? I bet I can flog him for 10%...

WE ARE ALMOST TO THE GOAL FOLKS! We just need a tad bit more pocket change. Did you look in the wash machine (for those who actually do laundry)? Did you check the vending machines where you eat lunch? How about under the floor mats in your car or truck? There's got to be some extra change laying around that you can send to Spencer to help make OTP X happen!!! We don't need too much more. Just enough to get the rider here and back. Keep in mind that the OTP X traveler still pays outta pocket for many things like questionable food and may have to spend the night with a bunch of snoring American escorts. Keep in mind, this is not a luxury ride that Ted is used to. No folks, this is bare minimum travel at its finest, but we gotta get the traveler here first!

Please look into your shrinking hearts and see if you can squeeze out a couple more drops of blood (pennies) to make sure OTP X is a success. PayPal doesn't care if its a few pennies, dimes, or dollars. Just let you weary eyes wander a little to the right on this here blog page and see that wonderful donate button? Just click on that widget and make a dream come true! Can you do that for me? I will make sure Ted get's flogged extra hard and painful if you can make ANY donation happen. We need to get to 100% so Hans will stop flogg'n me! P-L-E-A-S-E-!-!-!

OTP X Donation Update

Ok folks, here it is, the long awaited donation update.
Spencer has informed the OTP team that we are at about 75% of the needed funds for airfare and other fuel related expenses.

So now we continue the flogging to reach 100%.

How can you help?

For starters, please make a donation. Fuel is what will most likely cost the most for the OTP traveler. We need your pledges by 1 June. Then, we need your donation soon after. There are plans to make, reservations, etc., etc., etc.

The sooner we receive your donation, the sooner the team can get plans in order. Reach into your couch and pull out them lost pennies. Raid the kid's piggy bank. Turn in them aluminum beer cans and please forward the cash to the OTP team via the donate button on the right side of this page. The sooner we reach 100%, the sooner we stop the floggings.
